The village of South Cerney is in the Cotswold Water Park area so there are plenty of lakeside walks close by..

Cotswold Country Park and Beach (previously known as Keynes Country Park) between South Cerney and Somerford Keynes is probably the best known of the lakeside developments and consists of two large lakes, a large waterside decking area, man made beach, childrens play area and visitor information centre.

Waterland is the place to go for watersports in the Cotswolds and outdoor activities such as archery, survivak skills and low ropes.

Elsewhere, watersports fans are well catered for with sailing, wake boarding and water skiing within a short drive of South Cerney village centre.

South Cerney Angling Club main waters and clubhouse are located in and around South Cerney.

In Cirencester, just a few miles from South Cerney, you can find the world famous Corinium Museum, the art centre that is New Brewery Arts and a unique mix of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Further afield are the Cotswold Wildlife Park near Burford and Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury. The Cotswold towns and villages of Bibury, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Bourton on the Water are easily reached by car.
